Improving Content in Any Vertical While you can certainly tailor content production and promotion to your specific niche, there are some guidelines you can follow to improve the chances of your content getting more media coverage. Create Content with Titles in Mind determine the outcome you want. Before you start, ask yourself what do you want people to learn from your content? What elements of the content you produce will attract journalists’ attention? For example, we wrote a survey looking to compare the cooking experience levels of different generations. We hypothesized that we would see some specific differences between Baby Boomers Phone Number List and Millennials, and considering that Millennials ruin everything, now would be a good time to join the discussion. It turns out that only a handful of Millennials can correctly identify a butter knife. showing that millennials are having a tough time in the kitchen. Writing the paper ahead of time and understanding what we wanted the project to look like had a huge positive impact on our results. Appealing to people’s emotions From past research into the emotions that cause content to go viral, we’ve learned that negative content may be more likely to go viral if it’s also surprising. Nothing exemplifies this combination of emotional drivers better than a project we did for a travel client, where we used bacterial swabs to identify the dirtiest surfaces on airplanes.
